Who we are
This website is run by Momento Gift ("we", "us"). This policy explains what personal information we collect, why, and the choices you have. Questions? Email hello@momento.gift.
What we collect
- When you order: your name, email, mobile number, delivery address and PIN code, and — if you use it — the location you pick on the map.
- Personalisation: the plaque text, gift message and any photo you upload.
- Your account (optional): your password (stored securely scrambled, never readable) or your Google sign-in, and your order history.
- When you contact us or sign up: your message, newsletter subscription, or a "Notify me" request for a sold-out piece.
- Your cart and wishlist: the pieces you save with the heart, and — if you leave items in your cart after signing in or typing your email at checkout — a copy of that cart, so we can send up to two reminder emails. Every reminder has a link to stop them.
- Payments: we receive only a payment reference and status from Razorpay. We never see or store your card, UPI or bank details.
How we use it
Only to make and deliver your order, keep you updated about it by email and SMS, answer your questions, run your account, remind you about items left in your cart, and — if you opted in — send our newsletter or a back-in-stock email. We don't sell your information.
Who we share it with
Only the services needed to run the shop, and only what each one needs:
- Razorpay — to process online payments and advances.
- Shiprocket and its courier partners — your name, address and phone number, to deliver your parcel.
- Our SMS and email providers — to send order updates and sign-in codes.
- Google — only if you choose "Continue with Google" or use the map location picker.
- Our web host — which stores the website and its database securely in data centres.
We may also share information when the law requires it.
Your photos
Photos you upload are used only to make your frame. They are stored privately (not publicly on the website) and deleted on request.
Cookies
We use one essential cookie to keep your cart, wishlist and sign-in working, and one small cookie that remembers the last few pieces you looked at for 30 days, so we can show them to you again. We don't use advertising cookies. Google's sign-in and map tools may set their own cookies when you use them.
How long we keep it
Order records are kept for as long as needed for accounting and tax rules (usually up to 8 years). You can ask us to delete your account, photos and newsletter details at any time.
Your rights
In line with India's Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023, you can ask to see, correct or delete your personal information, or withdraw your consent to emails. Every newsletter has a one-click unsubscribe link. Email hello@momento.gift and we'll respond within 30 days.
